    • RE: Have You Heard About Phygital? I Just Read About It on a Blog Post

I’m curious if this could spark more “phygital” meetups too. Like, VTuber cons where everyone brings their figure and swaps stories or accessories like mini anime idols. I wonder if they’ll open up customization like clothing or seasonal looks post-launch?

    • Loving the Nest, But Notifications Need Tweaks.

Loving the community so far, but the notification system is a bit spammy. Any chance to let us pick which stuff pings us? Would be super helpful.

    • RE: Blending Live2D and Unity props for VTuber streams what do you think

I actually found that mixing 2D face with minimal 3D props gave my setup a super distinct style—viewers kept asking how it worked. That said, yeah... maintaining it is kind of like caring for a very temperamental pet. 😂 I’d kill for a plug-and-play bridge tool that could handle the sync better. Maybe someday.

    • Anyone else lowkey obsessed with chaotic mid-stream model swaps?

So I’ve been noticing more VTubers lately casually dropping surprise model swaps mid-stream and honestly?? It’s become one of my favorite little trends. One second they’re in their normal model, then BAM—suddenly they’re a gremlin, a PNG of a hotdog, or their “lore-accurate ancient demon form” with 12 eyes. 😂

It’s such a fun way to keep the energy up and show off different sides of your character (or just pure chaos for the memes). I’m especially loving when it ties into lore—like they “power up” mid-stream, or go full cursed-mode when chat hits a dono goal. But even without lore, it feels super personal, like you're getting different moods of the same creator.

I’ve been thinking of setting up a few alt models or forms myself, but I’m also curious—how do you all handle swaps? Do you plan them out or just vibe with it? And if you’re a viewer, does it make the stream more fun, or just distracting?

Would love to hear your favorite moments or tips for pulling it off smoothly!

    • RE: Are we reaching the point where your avatar feels more real than your IRL self?

Totally get this. Sometimes I feel like my avatar is the version of me I would be if I didn’t have social anxiety and a mortal body. 😅 I’ve caught myself thinking, “Would IRL me even get along with virtual me?” Like... who’s the mask at this point?

    • RE: Need opinions: Haunted Doll vs Bunny Girl for a VTuber concept?

Both sound amazing, but I think haunted doll wins for sheer vibe. There’s so much untapped potential there—imagine lore videos, glitchy model moments, weird lullaby outros. If they’re feeling bold, go creepy. If they want mass appeal and collab-friendly energy, bunny’s the safer pick. What kind of content are they thinking of doing? That might tip the scale.

    • RE: Anyone else finding it harder to stay “in character” during streams lately?

Honestly, I think it’s kinda beautiful in a weird way? Like yeah, it’s harder to stay “on,” but it also means your avatar has blended with you over time. That blur isn’t always burnout—it might be growth. But yeah, I still keep a few “anchor phrases” or emotes I always return to, just to ground the vibe when I feel myself drifting.

    • RE: Model lagging on high Virtual Desktop settings: tracking issue?

If your model starts moving like it’s underwater, Virtual Desktop might be going full slideshow mode. Tracking usually doesn’t cause that on its own unless your base stations are having an existential crisis at the same time.

    • RE: VTuber fails & meme moments, share yours.

Mic was hot before I went live and I full-on sang the Attack on Titan OP… off-key… with zero shame. Stream starts, chat is already crying laughing, and now it’s immortalized in a clip titled “Yelling Simulator 3000.”

    • How do y’all actually manage your energy when streaming regularly?

Streaming is fun, but some weeks I feel like I’m either too tired to show up properly or too wired to stop even when I should. I’ve been trying to find a balance that doesn’t lead to total burnout.

Would love to know what fellow VTubers (or regulars in the community) do to stay energized but not overdo it. Break rituals? Stream limits? Post-stream cool-downs?

Let’s swap habits—what keeps you going?
