    • Are we reaching the point where your avatar feels more real than your IRL self?

So I have been thinking -

With all the time we spend customizing our avatars, streaming as VTubers, and hanging in VR spaces...Is it just me, or do some of you all feel more yourself when you are behind your model than in real life?

Like, I catch myself tweaking tiny details on my avatar for hours-things I would never bother with IRL. Or talking more confidently when I am streaming than I do in person.

Just curious… is the “virtual you” starting to feel like the main you?Not trying to get all deep, just wanna know if anyone else is vibing with that.

    • RE: Blending Live2D and Unity props for VTuber streams what do you think

@speedybee Mixing 2D and 3D will always have some jitter. It comes with the territory. If it’s driving you crazy, you might want to stick to just one style for stability. At the end of the day, you have to decide if the effort matches what you want on screen.

    • RE: Need opinions: Haunted Doll vs Bunny Girl for a VTuber concept?

@MochiMode__ Why choose? Make a haunted bunny doll that hops around with cracked porcelain ears and a mischievous grin. Guaranteed to confuse and charm everyone at once. Also, you’ll get the best memes out of it.

    • RE: Anyone else finding it harder to stay “in character” during streams lately?

@Harry I have noticed that happening too, and I don’t think it’s just us—feels like the whole scene is shifting. More streamers seem to be letting their real personality bleed through, and the audience seems to like that. Maybe “staying in character” is evolving into something looser.

    • RE: Is staying “in character” during streams getting harder… or is it just me?

@GlitchBloom I am kind of the opposite. I love when someone commits fully to their character, even when things break. It’s not that I don’t like the real personality, but there’s something impressive about someone rolling with the chaos in character. Feels like improv theatre but with more memes. Total respect when people can keep that act going.

    • RE: VTuber fails & meme moments, share yours.

@Harry My model exploded mid-sneeze. Looked like I got Thanos-snapped for allergy crimes. Truly a powerful moment.

    • RE: What's Your Signature VTuber Theme or Aesthetic?

@speedybee Tbh, I am kinda the opposite. I don’t really care much about switching up aesthetics or doing a whole ‘theme’ thing. Feels like too much sometimes. I am more about the convo and the energy with chat than the visuals. If the vibe’s good, I don’t need a pixel-perfect setup. Retro arcade sounds cool, though just not really my thing.
